Privacy Policy

Effective June 13, 2026

1. Overview

Studio Liftoff (“Studio Liftoff,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), owned and operated by Zach Nelson in Indianapolis, Indiana, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit studioliftoff.com (the “Site”), request a free preview, or become a member, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Site or our services you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out our quiz, request a preview, sign up, or contact us, we collect things like your name, business name, email address, phone number, website URL, the type of business you run, and anything else you choose to share with us.

Account information. When you create a member account we store your email and any profile details you provide (name, business name).

Billing information. Payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We do receive limited billing metadata (e.g., last four digits, card brand, billing country, subscription status, invoice history) so we can manage your membership.

Content you provide. Logos, text, images, brand assets, and other materials you send us to build or update your website.

Usage and device data. Like most websites we automatically collect log data (IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, timestamps) and basic analytics events through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Build, host, maintain, update, and support your website.
  • Communicate with you about your project, account, and membership (including transactional and service emails).
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Operate, monitor, secure, and improve the Site and our service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • With your consent, send occasional updates about new features or offerings — you can opt out at any time.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (delivering the membership); legitimate interests (running and improving our business and keeping the service secure); consent (where required, e.g. non-essential cookies and marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser; some parts of the Site may not work properly without them.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the service, and only with the categories of recipients below:

  • Service providers who help us deliver the service — hosting/CDN, database, email delivery, analytics, payment processing (Stripe), error monitoring, and AI tooling. They are bound by contract to use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Studio Liftoff, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

7. Data retention

We retain account, billing, and project information for as long as you are a member and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data at any time (see “Your rights” below); some records (e.g. invoices) may be retained where required by law.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access to production systems, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Studio Liftoff operates from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection rules than your jurisdiction.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct or update it; request deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and request a portable copy. To exercise any of these rights, email zach@studioliftoff.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion or correction, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

11. Children

The Site and our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Site and the websites we build may link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above will be updated; material changes will be communicated by email or via the Site. Continued use of the Site or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
